Donorbox has added some exciting new features that will give your donors the ability to download pdf receipts, help you track recurring donors, and gain access to converted currency amount data.

Add a PDF Receipt to Donor Emails

Donorbox has added the ability to attach your donation receipt as a PDF to donor receipt emails. To add a PDF receipt, go to the “Accounts” tab on your Donorbox dashboard then select “Receipt Email Settings” and check the box to include a PDF version of the donation receipt. You can use this feature to add an image or a signature to the PDF file.

The PDF receipt will look exactly like the email, including any images. The most common use of the donation receipt pdf is having a signed document by the nonprofit. This is an ideal place to include a personal signature.

Filter Your Recurring Donations

You can now filter recurring donations by date as well as by failed, active, paused, and cancelled donations. To use this feature, click on “Recurring Donations” on the top of your Donorbox dashboard then select the date range you would like to view by using the bars with the calendar image. To sort by failed, active, paused, and cancelled donations, select the “Status” bar to decide which type of recurring donation you would like to view.

View Converted Amount for Donations in Multiple Currencies

For organizations that take donations in multiple currencies, we added a “Converted Amount” and “Converted Currency” columns in the CSV export. When a USD based Stripe account takes Euro payments, Stripe converts the amount from EUR to USD. The USD amount is the actual amount that the account will receive. When you export donations, there will be an additional column with the converted amount. The converted amount now appears in your Donorbox dashboard as well.
